March 11: W3O Women's Day – Making the Philippines ICT Gender SensitiveJanette Toral
This March 11, DigitalFilipino.com is organizing a W3O Women’s Day Event with the theme “Making the Philippines ICT Gender Sensitive” This will be at the 6th floor of the Department of Trade and Industry, Gil Puyat Ave, corner Makati Avenue, Makati City from 9 am to 5 pm.
W3O or Women in Web, Wireless, and Outsourcing is a small discussion group for women that interacts on various IT issues. Interested women can sign up at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/w3o
We are inviting everyone, regardless of gender, to participate in this one day forum and exchange ideas on the path towards gender
sensitivity in ICT.
The fee for this whole day, non-profit forum is only 700 pesos to cover the cost of lunch and two snack food, speaker tokens, and handouts. Due to limited space, we can only accommodate 30 participants in this forum.
