Editorial independence
Guides are written by Janette Toral. No company, agency or marketplace reviews or approves a guide before it is published, and no one can pay to change what a guide says.
How the site is funded
The site is paid for by Janette’s own work: training, talks, advice and books.
The site also shows ads from Google AdSense. Google chooses which ads appear. We do not pick them, and an advertiser cannot change what a guide says.

Affiliate links
If affiliate links are used, a link that earns the site a commission will be marked as one near the link or at the top of the page. A commission never changes the price you pay, and never decides whether a tool is recommended.
Sponsored content
Anything paid for by a third party will be labelled “Sponsored” at the top, and will name the sponsor. Sponsored material is kept apart from the guides.
Free products and access
If we are given a product, ticket or account to review, we will say so in that article, and say whether any conditions were attached.
Events
Events listed on the site say who organises them and whether the author is speaking, hosting or attending.

If something on the site looks like an undisclosed paid placement, please tell us and we will look into it.
