(The January 2014 webinar briefing was conducted by Dr. Nick Fontanilla, President of i-Metrics Asia-Pacific Corporation)
The January 2014 report shows signs that the Philippines will have a great year ahead. We also expect businesses to have increased their productivity and efficiency. This also includes effective manpower utilization. However, this growth is often discussed in parallel with rising unemployment in the country. In the video above, Dr. Nick Fontanilla shares his point of view that as the economy grows, efficiency also improves, therefore creating competitive highly-skilled employment opportunities.
