Observations
1. Entrepreneurs, Marketing, and Media Planners can use the above data and see which sites are strategic enough to support their marketing, advertising, and sales plan for 2012.
2. Digital advertising currently accounts to around 1% of traditional advertising spend. Depending on who you are talking to, this figure can be anywhere around P1.9 to P3.8 billion pesos. Knowing that Filipinos finding the Internet as 2nd most effective advertising medium (refer to slide 16), allotting a budget in this space is becoming more important than ever. This whether you are aiming via desktop or mobile.

Hi Janette, this is based on what metrics? Visits? UX? Among others.
Hi RJ. Their report cited unique browser visits recorded.
Thanks Janette! This is really interesting. Will you publish a more comprehensive report?u00a0
Yes, will include our own data generated that also looks into other aspects. I look at traffic and unique visits as only 50% of the equation in coming up with rankings. However, the data above can be a good start.
Would you have a comparison from last year? Thanks for sharing this.
I have a DigitalFilipino – Search Profile Index report last year that was used as basis for our web awards then. However, this was not given out publicly.
>.< cant imagine yahoo at the number one spot is it really reliable?..nnever seen people from my community visit yahoo pages,..n(just saying what i have observe you can hate me for generalizing it ,.yes u can but this is my opinion hope u will not offend)
I think for the general masses, Yahoo is still most visited as it host a lot of content info ranging from news to lifestyle content. It has been consistent as well with other sources of info that I will be adding here soon.
Good Day Janette, You had made a good ACTION to show this data to HELP our Entrepreneurs to select the best Website to place their online business marketing strategies. Thanks, More Powers !!! to you. Take Care Always. OUR ALMIGHTY GOD JEHOVAH AND LORD JESUS CHRIST BLESS YOU ALWAYS & FAMILY.

Facebook is the most popular. No wonder because even babies have a Facebook account here! LOL.
